The question is not whether Taiwan is an independent country - everyone already knows that it is. The CCP's law authorizing force to stop Taiwan from pursuing formal independence is irrelevant.

The question is, why does the world persist in this stupid charade of pretending that Taiwan is part of China?

The answer of course is that profit-makers don't want to upset the goose that has been laying so many golden eggs.
